A quick and easy method of sharing the Gospel: The Bridge
There is a separation between us and God. The reason for that separation is our sin (Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.) We can't live up to our standards for ourselves, much less God's standards. Because of that, in our relationship with God, there is a separation.
How do we overcome this separation? Many of us try by our own power to overcome it ... by trying to pray more, or doing good works for God. The problem is, the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). No matter how many good things we try to do, we keep on sinning. No matter how many good things we do, we can't overcome the debt for which we must die. The good news is, that God has overcome this separation for us. What we couldn't do ourselves, God has done through Jesus Christ. Jesus paid the penalty for our sin. He died the death that we deserved, so that we can be with God. Jesus has bridged the separation between us and God that is caused by our sin.
