A quick and easy method of sharing the Gospel: Do vs. Done
Most religions of the world can be summed up with two simple letters "DO." We understand that there is a gap of separation between us and God. We fall short of God's standards. Various religions of the world provide these answers: do more, pray more give more... the answer is in moral works. The problem is, we can never bridge that gap on our own. We'll always fall short of God's standards for us.
Christianity is spelled differently... "DONE." What we can't do for ourselves, Christ has done for us. He lived a perfect moral, upright life and then paid the penalty for our sin, so that in Him, we can have the righteousness that God requires of us. He paid our debt. It's already DONE for us.
So if we can stop trusting in ourselves and the things we can do and start living for Him and recognize that in Him it's already DONE, then we can have a relationship with God.
